BROMINE LR
Bromine (chemical symbol Br) is a highly corrosive,
reddish-brown, volatile element found in liquid form.
Bromine—along with fluorine, chlorine, and iodine—is part of a family of elements known as the halogens.
Bromine is used in many areas such as agricultural chemicals, dyestuffs, insecticides, pharmaceuticals and chemical intermediates. Some uses are being phased out for environmental reasons, but new uses continue to be found.
Two naturally existing isotopes of bromine exist, bromine-79 and bromine-81.
Isotopes are two or more forms of an element. Isotopes differ from each other according to their mass number.
