Product Short Description:

MALEIC ACID AR

Product Description:

Malic acid is a chemical found in certain fruits and wines. It is sometimes used as medicine. Malic acid is used most commonly for dry mouth. It is also used for fibromyalgia, fatigue, and skin conditions, but there is no good scientific evidence to support these other uses.Malic acid neutralizes the pH levels of the hair follicles and removes dirt deposits stuck to the hair. It can also prevent hair loss. Simply wash your hair with diluted apple cider vinegar (twice or thrice a week, before shampooing), which is a very good source of malic acid.

Product Application:

Maleic acid is a colorless crystalline solid having a faint odor. ... Maleic acid is a butenedioic acid in which the double bond has cis- (Z)-configuration. It has a role as a plant metabolite, an algal metabolite and a mouse metabolite. It is a conjugate acid of a maleate(1-) and a maleate.

Product Dose:

maleic acid is derived by hydrolysis of maleic anhydride, the latter being produced by oxidation of benzene or butane.[6] Maleic acid is an industrial raw material for the production of glyoxylic acid by ozonolysis.

Product Note:

Maleic acid is the cis-isomer of butenedioic acid, whereas fumaric acid is the trans-isomer. It is mainly used as a precursor to fumaric acid, and relative to its parent maleic anhydride, maleic acid has few applications.
