Brilliant green is a triphenylmethane dye commonly used in Eastern Europe and other regions for the treatment of superficial skin infections and onychomycosis.
This chemical use as an antiseptic and wound healing agent has been investigated in the scientific'

Application
Brilliant green induces vomiting when swallowed and is toxic when ingested.
The compound may lead to serious injuries if it comes in contact with an eye, even resulting in bilateral blindness due to corneal opacification.
