RXSOL Cyclohexyl Amine is a highly reactive, strongly alkaline organic amine widely used in boiler water treatment, steam condensate corrosion control, rubber chemical manufacturing and industrial chemical synthesis.
Cyclohexylamine is a clear, colourless to pale yellow liquid with a characteristic strong amine odour. It is miscible with water and many organic solvents.
In boiler treatment applications, Cyclohexylamine functions as a volatile neutralizing amine, helping neutralize carbonic acid formed in steam condensate systems. By maintaining suitable condensate pH, it helps minimize acid-related corrosion in steam distribution pipelines, condensate return lines and associated equipment.
Cyclohexylamine is also an important chemical intermediate used in manufacturing rubber accelerators, corrosion inhibitors and specialty industrial chemicals.

Cyclohexylamine is used in neutralizing amine formulations for steam boiler condensate treatment.
It helps neutralize carbonic acid and reduce corrosion caused by acidic condensate.
2. Steam Condensate Corrosion Control
Cyclohexylamine is used to maintain suitable pH in steam condensate systems, helping protect compatible steam pipelines, condensate return lines and equipment against acid-related corrosion.
3. Corrosion Inhibitor Manufacturing
Used as a raw material in selected industrial corrosion inhibitor formulations, including neutralizing amine and vapor-phase corrosion inhibitor systems.

During steam generation, dissolved carbon dioxide may travel with the steam and form carbonic acid when the steam condenses.

Dosage: The required dosage depends on condensate pH, carbon dioxide loading, steam system design and operating conditions. Dosage must be established through a suitable boiler treatment programme. Direct dosing of concentrated Cyclohexylamine without proper engineering controls is not recommended.
