Very effective TURBOCHARGER & AIR COOLER CLEANING
AIR COOLER CLEANING CHEMICAL is a concentrated liquid solution of aromatic hydrocarbons, powerful surfactants, corrosion inhibitors, and strong emulsifying.
During the operation, the fins & tubes of the main engine air cooler which become fouled with oil, grease, dust and carbonaceous deposit , which will affect cooler efficiency and damage the system.
Dirt attached on air-side fins of air coolers are a mix of carbonaceous particles such as soot and oil mist of unburned fuel components.
Carbonaceous particles can be removed by Alkaline Cleaners Part No. RXSOL-16-1040-025 ( www.rxmarine.com/alkaline-air-cooler-cleaner ) and oil mist can be removed by oil based cleaners. However, it is very difficult to remove the mix of these substances. If you use an alkaline cleaner, oil will repel the water based alkaline cleaner; if you use oil based cleaner, carbonaceous particles will get in the way and stop oil from being removed.
This cleaners designed to remove both carbonaceous and oil simultaneously. An effective cleaning method is to immerse one side to remove the loose stains first, and then immerse the other side. This method can efficiently remove dirt and prevent swollen dirt peeled from fins from blocking the spaces between fins.
Dirt in tubes of seawater side
White scales attached on the seawater side of air coolers of many vessels. We found that in most cases, the main component of the scales is calcium carbonate and there is also a small amount of calcium sulfate. Therefore in most cases, if you dissolve the calcium carbonate the scales will be removed.
However, if the amount of scales is large enough to block the tube, the cylindrical scale will usually have calcium carbonate on the outside (the side that is in contact with tube) and calcium sulfate in the center (part that seawater passes through). Calcium sulfate is easier to be formed when the temperature goes higher.
When the amount of scales increases, the contact area of scale and cleaner is very small and a longer time of dissolution is required. Calcium sulfate cannot be dissolved by an acid cleaner.
RXSOL-54-1048-020 ( www.rxmarine.com/safe-acid-descalex-liquid-20-ltr ) is a powerful dissolving agent of calcium carbonate. Therefore, it is better to use RXSOL-54-1048-020 to do circulating cleaning at an early stage before the scales build up and block the tube, or regular cleaning is recommended as well. It is impossible to do a circulating cleaning when the tube is completely blocked.

AIR COOLER CLEANING CHEMICAL is a concentrated liquid solution of aromatic hydrocarbons, powerful surfactants, corrosion inhibitors, and strong emulsifying.
In General: Depending upon contamination 10-25% with fresh water.
OPTIONAL: Dependant on design, the cooler is flooded with AIR COOLER CLEANING CHEMICAL immersed in a tank full of product.
Hand spray Cleaning: By Hand spray, apply concentrate RXSOL-16-0009-210 all over the cooler coils. for good emulsification &penetration. Allow the RXSOL-16-0009-210 for a minimum of 10 MINUTES then use high-pressure water to wash off the loosened deposits. During the process always keep the drain valve open. After satisfactory cleaning, and flushing through with fresh water, close air cooler drains. Note that during this process the engine must be stopped.
Immersion bath
At least for 2 Hrs deep COOLER PARTS into AIR COOLER CLEANING CHEMICAL emulsion tank. The product should be heated to approx. 50°C and agitation provided with an airline. Then drain off and flush well with water, followed by drying with an airline.
Soak method: Machine parts with stubborn carbon deposits to be cleaned is dipped into conc.Soln.of ACC then allow deposits to. Be broken down and loosened before removal, then rinse.
Circulation method
Some designs of cooler can be circulated "in situ". In this case, a pump tank and pipe system are fitted permanently or connections are provided for connecting a temporary circuit. The system should be filled with AIR COOLER CLEANING CHEMICAL circulation carried out for 2 - 4 hours at a temperature of up to 50°C. After cleaning the cooler should be thoroughly flushed with fresh water and dried with an airline.
Note: Both cleaning methods benefit from the heat of up to 50°C and cleaning times can be reduced or extended depending on temperature and degree of fouling.

Detailed Technical specification of individual components of chiller
A. Refrigerant Compressors.
The refirgerant compressors shall be of hermitically sealed scroll type compressors with all standard accessories. The compressors shall be designed for continuous duty for a minimum period of 720 Hours. The approximate time taken by chiller unit for pulling down the intial load from ambient conditions of =40 degree C (maximum) to the designed process condition of - 45 degree C shall be clearly indicated. The refirgeration package shall also be provided with hot gas bypass arrangement ot act as an artificial heat load, during part load operations and also to recover the oil from the evaporator, as and when situation demands. System shall be designed to prevent starving of compressors during continous operations. The compressors shall be suitable for working on 415V, 3 phase, 50 Hz. AC power supply and the terminal block shall have IP 64 protection. The compressors shall be of reputed make like Copeland, Germany/ Bitzer, Germany/ Dunfoss (Typical).
B. Inter-stage Condenser.
The inter-stage condenser shall be of shell and tube type or al plate type of pack-less tube in tube type heat exchanger shall be designed and suitably selected with adequate heat transfer area. The heat exchanger shall be suitably thermally insulated with EPDM foam rubber of adequate thickness of class 'O' rating. While selecting the condenser capacity, all non-process side external heat loads like insulation losses, heat capacity of all piping material, pipe fittings, balance tank/ expansion tank etc. shall be adequately considered. These PHEs shall be of reputed make like WTT Germany/ Alfa Laval, Germany/ GEA (Typical)
C. Water cooled condenser for high-stage refrigerant circuit
Water cooled condenser to be used in the high side refrigeration circuit shall be of shell and tube type or a plate type or pack-less tube heat exchanger, designer suitably. The water available for cooling in the condenser is chilled water, and is available at a pressure of about 2-3 bar at a temperature of around 20-22 degree C. Adequate protection shall be considered for the chiller system for possible faults like insufficient cooling water flow, low cooling water pressire and high temperature of cooling water. Suitable cooling water pressure/ flow regulator, cooling water flow switch etc. shall be part of the system. The required cooling water flow rate and the temperature differential considered shall be indicated in the offer with all calculations, without fail. These water-cooled condensers shall be of reputed make like Danfos/ Copeland/ Bitzer/ Alfa laval(Typical).
