Alkali Neutraliser is a acidic solution
Alkali Neutraliser is a acidic solution for the neutralisation of alkaline solution and waste. It contains an in built pH indicator to provide a visual colour change when neutralisation of spent alkaline waste has been completed.
Alkali Neutraliser allows users to neutralize acidic metal treatment products to comply with pH requirements of trade waste water regulating authorities.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
1) Neutralisation of retained alkaline waste For every litre of spent Alkaline waste, add approximately 1.7 litres of Alkali Neutralizer. The Alkali Neutralizer on contact with the spent alkali waste will go clear.
If neutralisation has not occurred with the initial dosage, then add additional quantities of Alkali Neutraliser at 100ml per litre of waste.
2) Diagnostic Use After washing the Alkaline material and while still wet, spray the Alkali Neutraliser solution directly onto the area where it is required, in particular in corners and crevices. If residual alkali is present an effervescent reaction will occur. Flush with water thoroughly once the effervescence has stopped.
Avoid contact with skin or eyes.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Alkali Neutraliser is an alkaline solution so that contact with skin and eyes is avoided. Wear eye goggles and appropriate protective clothing. If the product comes in contact with the skin immediately wash affected area thoroughly with water and soap. Seek medical attention in the event of irritation. If required remove and rinse contaminated clothing.
If the product comes in contact with the eyes, immediately hold the eyes open and wash with fresh running water. Ensure irrigation under the eye lids by occasionally lifting upper and lower lids. If pain persists or recurs, seek medical attention.
