GENTIAN VIOLET GR Crystal Violet
Gentian violet was originally used for a mixture of methyl pararosaniline dyes (methyl violet),
but is now often considered a synonym for crystal violet
Using a cotton swab to avoid staining your hands, apply gentian violet to the affected area, usually once or twice a day or as directed by your doctor. Apply only to the affected area, and avoid surrounding healthy skin. Wash hands immediately after use unless the area being treated includes the hands.
Step Six: once mixed into a deep purple, simply apply the mixture to your hair. Be careful to coat each strand. I don't particularly coat my strands evenly because I like the mixture of purples, I feel it gives more dimension and interest to the colour. Leave this on for twenty minutes
The staining protocol takes about 6 minutes to perform. Crystal violet aids in the visualization of cells by staining the cell nuclei a deep purple color. The staining procedure: Place the cells to be examined on the ice and wash them with cold PBS.
